Thread mode allows direct integration with Matter-enabled ecosystems like Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, Home Assistant, Homey and more. (*To use the device with a particular Matter ecosystem, a Matter Controller of this ecosystem and a Thread Border Router are required.)
• Versatile Control & Smart Schedules: Enjoy flexible control with multiple options including device buttons, app remote access, voice assistants and the Aqara Climate Sensor W100. Customize your comfort with smart schedules that support up to 7 time periods per day across the week with 5 preset modes. Even if the internet or hub connection is lost, saved schedules will continue to run locally. *Control via Climate Sensor W100 and Smart Schedule functions require Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app.
• Advanced Temperature Sensing & Calibration: Get accurate climate data from multiple sources: built-in sensor, wired NTC floor sensor, or the associated Aqara temperature and humidity sensor. Fine-tune your heating with temperature calibration ranging from ±0 to 5°C for precise comfort control. *The above functions all require Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app. In Thread mode, if the device is connected to the NTC sensor, temperature source defaults it, otherwise the built-in sensor, and external sensor binding will not be available.
• Energy Monitoring: The Aqara Floor Heating Thermostat W500 monitors your heating system’s power and energy use in real time with daily and monthly tracking, and gain a full view of home-wide use through Aqara Home app’s Whole-Home Energy Consumption in supported regions (EU and North America). The W500 also features window detection—pausing heating if a connected Aqara Door and Window Sensor detects an open window or if a rapid temperature drop occurs. *The above functions all require Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app. Some features may be limited in third-party Matter ecosystems.
• Reliable Comfort with Stability: Stay warm without interruption thanks to the adjustable temperature swing range (±0.5–3°C), which maintains a stable environment by reducing frequent on/off cycles as temperatures fluctuate. *The built-in power-off memory restores the thermostat to its previous state after an outage, ensuring consistent comfort. *Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app is required to disable this feature manually.
